I have been some what remiss in my duties and rather let the side down some.
Normally, i am gung-ho and have articles and newsletters written ahead of time, but not this year.
I am back from the United Kingdom where i went for two purposes. The first reason as many of you already know was to take my parents back and add them to the family plot. My duty is now done!
The second reason was to offer my support to a young gentleman who was wanting information on how to start his bakery in Mombasa, that’s in Kenya. However, after making his initial visit to the country he decided to concentrate on setting up a clothing outlet and has put the bakery on the back burner so to speak.
I wish him every success, but I am not able to assist him in the rag trade. Sorry!
Is winter worse than summer

Is winter worse than summer. What a question?
For the employer, the answer is the same!
For many winter is a time when you just curl up and hibernate like the bears, because some people just cannot stand the cold or they pack up and go to a warmer climate.
But as an employer, the question is a pertinent point.
You see, winter poses the same employee problems, but in different months of the year.
In winter the problem is usually colds, flu and weather related. Sometimes that weather presents both a challenge to public transport and personal transport facilities from operating.
In summer months its the warm weather that entices the employee to perhaps go fishing instead of working.
So what does a business owner do in situations similar?
Recently, while in the United Kingdom almost the entire country fell foul to extreme weather patterns and many people just could not get to their employment even though they had paid to be transported between points A and B. Points on the railway froze. Roads became a stand still with packed snow and ice, making travel dangerous. Airports closed for days on end.
These are just a few of the causes and considerations required by a business owner.
